I've done it! I've visited Klang!
I went to Klang on Friday, in the evening. Jae Sen picked me up and took me to his house. I watched him play a game with Ivan, watch a replay and disturb people on MSN. Then, after he bathed, we waited for Chin Yang to pick us up for dinner.
The moment I entered the car, Jerry greeted me with "Hi gay!". -__- That was the first time I met Jerry, Chin Yang and Momo. Chin Yang didn't call me gay at all...strange, cause he usually does, on Garena. Jerry was like what I expected him to be, but Momo...for some reason I've always expected him to be kinda fierce LOL. Turns out I was wrong :D
We went to Bukit Tinggi for dinner. The place is large, and true enough, there were plenty of restaurants, cafes, mamaks etc etc. We finally decided to eat at a place called Jeth Cafe. Ivan met up with us there.
It was funny business when we talked about Dota games that we played. Especially when we talk about the funny things some of us do or say in game.
We went to Sino next. Sino is the cybercafe that these guys frequent. It's a pretty good one too, looks very professional HAHA. Played a few matches and, sadly, lost most of them.
We went to a mamak which they call 'MYOB' for supper. True enough, the fried chicken was delicious, but the nasi lemak was...normal la, to me, nothing special. After supper, we all went home. Played a couple of games with them on Garena, then went to bed.
Saturday morning. Tournament day. We went to Sino, only to find that registration hasn't begun. So, we went for breakfast before returning to Sino. Played a game of OMG Dota, and laughed ourselves silly with the funny skill combinations and surprises we sprung on each other.
Soon, they told us to move away from the tourney computers. Luckily for us, we proceeded straight to the second round (top 16). Khairul a.k.a Kyo's team played with team Sino in the first round and lost to them. We faced Sino afterward.
We had an advantage in the first game, which we had to remake because two of their PCs hung. We went on to lose both the later matches, thought I admit I had fun anyway, and Js was laughing away when Jerry and one of the opponents were fooling around. They were decent people too, and joked around with us.
After losing, we went for lunch, then back to the CC for a few games. Ned came for a while too! But without melons :(
In the evening, we went back, and Js sent me to the station. And that concluded my Klang visit. I'm really glad I finally managed to meet some of the people I've been gaming with for quite some time.
