FTZ With Soon

Went to FTZ today.

David ffk.

And we played L4D2. Nothing much, the usual own zombies/get owned routine, but the best part of the day IMHO is in the following 'conversation'.

I was playing Ellis and spamming the 'Taunt' command. He'd say stuff like "We knocked the piss outta them' and 'Why don't you remember that for next time, you sons of b****es!'

Once, he said, "We beat the dog shit out of them!", and Soon's Rochelle replied, "Yo, shut up!".

I continued spamming and said, "Yo, who's your daddy?"

And Rochelle replied...

"Mother of Mercy!"

Zombies~

Watched Zombieland. Nice show, a very fun ride, and very funny. Reminded Soon and I a lot about L4D2.

I spent the afternoon at Pyramid with Soon and Wai, watched said movie, ate, ate, uh, jalan-jalan, then went home.

Tomorrow's mah last exam. After 11 a.m, I'm FREE.

Ah Lians = mobs?

Just for kicks, I read an article on Ah Lians on Wikipedia...and this following paragraph really cracked me up:

"Also, an Ah Lian is a common encounter while exploring Malaysia or Singapore, but they do give out nice amounts of exp, so training on them may be beneficial. Also, in Petaling Street, the boss Hao Po spawns every 50 minutes. Defeating her gives out 50, 000 exp and legendary equipment, including "Misplaced face" which is needed in the quest "Leng lui love you"."

Eat Sing Eat

I went to Pyramid on Friday to meet up with my Teambuilding classmates, as well as the lecturers and a few other non-Teambuilding students.

Total = 25 people. Not the full class, but numerous enough.

Half were late. I was quite early, so instead of waiting around for my groupmates Chee Aun and Chris, as well as those who were coming with them (ya, almost all of them were coming from KL), I went with friends from the other groups for lunch at Kim Gary.

And before the food came, I had to leave to meet up with a rather lost Chee Aun. LOL

Made me walk through pretty much the whole of Pyramid before I found him. And after that, he didn't come along, and I went back to Kim Gary alone for lunch.

Hm...I may have come off as aloof and quiet because I didn't really talk much with the others. Truth was, I was feeling a little out of place, cause I didn't know most of them well enough, and was...well, shy. LOL. Furthermore, I was kinda lost with the Mandarin they were speaking. So I just finished my lunch and listened to their talk.

After lunch, we met up with all the others, who've not eaten yet. The former group went ice-skating, while this late group went for lunch. However, Chee Aun, Chris' friends Ah Soong and another Chris (Chris Kan), and I went to Red Box to get a room first.

I didn't know most of the people who came for the karaoke session. I only knew Chris, Chee Aun and our lecturer whom we call Ms. Yap. It was a pretty fun afternoon. Early on, when it was only the four of us there, we sang a few English songs, like Linkin Park's songs (damn hard to sing), 'The Reason' by Hoobastank (also kinda difficult), 'Lonely' by Akon (Chipmunk phail), as well as some Chinese songs. Later on when the full group came they mostly sang Mandarin songs and I listened. Cause I didn't know how to sing. Kinda like a concert. And my lecturer was pretty good at singing! Her voice was good. She must be a karaoke regular.

We finished our karaoke session at about 5.30 pm, so we went to meet up with the skaters. However they were not ready to leave yet, but were taking a short break. After yelling back and forth about dinner plans, Chris, Chee Aun, Chris Kan, Ah Soong and I went to Yuen Steamboat. To get seats first.

We must have given the waiter at the door a shock when we told him we had 25 people. But he handled it and found us two large tables on the second floor, after making us confirm that there would be THAT many people eating.

We didn't wait for the rest, and started eating. We managed to snag some of those chicken wings that Yuen was famous for. There weren't that many people at that time so it was a relatively easy win. They tasted pretty good...but honestly, nothing too special.

Chee Aun wondered how the restaurant earned its profits. After all, he said, if there were people like us there, who were famished, we'd probably eat more than the amount we paid for, and suppose that on a particular day, MOST of the customers who came could eat a lot, wouldn't the restaurant face losses on that day?

Well, we thought that for each glutton there, there would be someone who wouldn't be able to eat much, so it's balanced out.

Later on, the rest gathered here as well. And at this time, a waitress brought a new tray of chicken wings, and we were too distracted to notice. Epic phail, we only managed to get four pieces. Yea, at Yuen's, people FIGHT for the chicken wings. Like a pack of hungry dogs given a juicy leg of lamb or something.

The others of our group got settled down and begin eating. And it became war later on with the chicken wings as everyone fought harder and harder to get them. Heck, sometimes some people waited for half an hour beside the tray for the chicken to come. By the third or fourth round, some of our group joined in the chicken fight just for kicks, not because the chicken was so good. Hahaha.

My table had a lot of powerful eaters. I think I did pretty good myself, managed to consume quite a lot. Mr Lim (our other lecturer), Chris, Chee Aun and the rest also ate quite a lot. However there would always be a limit to our bellies. Hence the real 'champions' would show themselves. A guy named Khim Yao at our table kept on eating even after the rest of us stopped. Not bad!

The folks at the other table ate even less. Maybe cause they had more girls over at the table (I'm not saying girls can't eat as much as guys or more). Once most of us were done with eating, we started taking photos. Wun Sun's DSLR was used. She let others do the photographing instead.

It was also Badcat's birthday. We celebrated with him, but we had no cake. So...Ah Soong and Chris Kan put scoops of ice-creams into cups and stuck candles into them. Impromptu ice-cream 'cakes'!

Spent more time there after that, chatting and taking photos. And then we paid up and left.

Went back to hometown. Attended a wedding.

And.

PUT. ON. MORE. WEIGHT.

I FEEL fat now.

Study break is here. Time to stardee, and perhaps fit a couple of yumcha sessions in at night.

Dead and Back

Computer died a few days ago, but was resuscitated.

I got Left 4 Dead 2, but...it doesn't seem to be working properly. :(

And some Aussie-Malaysians are back!
