Fishie's mom picked me up this morning. Already in the car were Fishie and Hui Ting. We were going to the KTM, and then to Midvalley.
The other two found it amusing that I had problems with the ticket machine. Aha, but just wait till later...
We first went to KL Sentral, where we were supposed to meet Jae Sen and Serena, and take another train to Midvalley after that. Today's the first day I'm traveling out to Midvalley using public transportation, and also my first outing there with friends. I've only gone there with my family in the past.
After we all met up, we waited for what seemed like ages for the train to arrive. Js was half-dead, sleepy as hell, his eye-lids not fully opened. Extremely...uh...cute?
We stood around talking and talking till the train came.
At Midvalley, we first went to the cinema to get tickets. Js wanted 'Where Got Ghost', and Serena agreed (mainly because Fishie, like me, is afraid of horror movies), but in the end, she managed to convince him to watch 'G-Force'. We bought the tickets first, then went for lunch at the Food Court.
I ate hotplate noodles, cause Serena ordered the same thing and it looked nice. Js' tomyam soup was awesome. Really spicy and really sour. Delicious and perfect in perking up sleepy people.
When we were almost done with our meals, Guet Peng arrived. She went to order Japanese food.
The lunch affair was great. It's been like forever since I've had a meal with these people, where back in those days, I had lunch/morning tea with them almost everyday. Though of course, some of them still have meals together probably almost all the time. Kampar people.
We wanted to go to the pet shop, to see FISH. Sadly, the place was closed. So we went to the lower floors cause Serena and Guet Peng wanted to check out some shops.
After that, we watched the movie. I would have thoroughly enjoyed the show if I were a few years younger. But to me, it was just entertaining. Cliched la, this kinda show. But it's ok, it's probably better than a lot of other shows out there. Since it's the post-blockbuster season. It's like a party where the best liquor has already been served, and now the Shandies get to come out.
Serena, Js and I bought some ice-cream from McDonalds after the movie. I still love the taste of the Oreo Mcflurries, but the things have become damned small. And the price still remains high.
Later, it was just a shopping session, where we went into many many shops to look at their wares. Mostly accessory shops and stuff, where Js and I probably wouldn't find anything suitable for ourselves. That didn't stop us from going in and messing with the things, from rings to necklaces to chains to hairbands to bags etc.
Actually, we were mostly just following Serena and Guet Peng. My, those two are really window-shoppers. Only Serena made a few purchases though.
As we walked, Js and I would just find many many ways to annoy Fishie. Js liked to step onto her shoes from behind, or block her from the front. I used my mouth, and just threw a whole load of bullshit at her. Hahahahaha. And 'Nini-chan' is a sure-fire way to get a strong reaction from her. LOL
I dunno bout the rest, but I was tired out from all the walking around. And on the way back, we had to stand as well. KTM's really packed in the evening, no difference from the LRT.
And then, Hui Ting and Fishie had to follow my lead when we took a bus home. Too bad they had to walk quite a distance to get to Fishie's home.
It was only when I was reading on the couch just now when I realized how exhausted I felt. My legs were also aching. And I fell asleep. Am I getting old or what?
